About Us

After a few weeks of sitting awkwardly across from one another in an empty dance studio... water bottle in one hand, turning the pages of a six-month old gossip mag in the other... their perfectly cat-lined eyes met and then quickly reverted back to the out-of-date copy of Glamour.  It was destiny (provided one of them plucked up the courage to actually speak to the other)... and then it happened... It turned out they were more alike than they even knew and they soon nicknamed one-another 'Twinny' due to the gym constantly mixing up their membership cards.    

Et voila! The Skull Sisters were born!  Peachy Jean and Ruby Bakewell were practically fused at the hip after discovering mutual loves for all things: bric-a-brac, burlesque, coffee & cake, cocktails, cosmetics, vintage and a mutually unique eclectic style in fashion and music.

Peachy Jean with a particular passion for vegetarian cooking, piercings, Yankee Candles, up-cycling and pushing Hula Hoops through Mini Babybels.

Ruby Bakewell with a distinct love for all things baking, retro pin-ups & burlesque, tattoo and dipping french fries in chocolate milkshake.
